What is a case interview?
Most consulting interviews involve case interviews, a hypothetical business situation presented to the applicant during the interview to determine how they are able to think, assess, and solve the problem. Case interviews may be one on one with an interviewer or may be done in a group. The case interview aims to simulate life as a consultant and often involves both proposing theoretical and mathematically based solutions in real time.
