PhD Candidate in Cancer Biology | M.S. in Biological and Physical Science

ugp9ke@virginia.edu

Sophie's research focuses on cancer biology and immunology, with an emphasis on identifying novel approaches to improve drug efficacy for breast cancer patients. She brings extensive experience in project management, interdisciplinary collaboration, hypothesis-driven research design, and scientific communication

Beyond the bench, Sophie is deeply committed to mentorship and education, mentoring and teach both graduate and undergraduate students. She leverages this diverse skill set to connect graduate students across the university with the world of consulting and careers beyond academia.
